Ashton Kutcher A+ Fancy Box October Review and Discount

There are many boxes that come in my box, but my husband only gets one, the Ashton Kutcher A+ Fancy Box.  The Ashton Kutcher Fancy A+ Box is $39.00 a month plus $7.95 shipping.

First Look into the box
Fancy changed up their packing material this month.  It used to be brown paper, now there is Fancy paper.

Native Union Monocle Speaker $60.00
This is a speaker, headset and speakerphone.  My husband loves this thing.  The speaker quality isn't the greatest, but C had a blast playing with it.  He is taking this to work for our “conference calls”.  My husband loves techie gadgets like this.
Ashton Says: “Talk about efficiency at its finest.  This speaker, handset and speakerphone combination is a terrific triple threat.”
The Gentlemen's Deck by Frausto & Co $15.95
This is a deck of cards with tips on how to be a proper gentleman.  You can learn to tie a proper Windsor knot, or the proper way to taste whiskey.  C also loved this and has been reading the cards all evening.
Ashton Says “Halloween is a month for disguises.  Use these cards to help master yours”.
Hey Handsome mirror sticker $5.00
You can stick this on your mirror and be reminded how handsome you are.  C doesn't love this but is going to put it on something in his office.
Ashton Says: “This mirror art will give you the boost you need to kick you day off right”
Purple and White Pocket Square $40.00
C wears jeans and a t shirt to work, so he won't use this much.  It is a very nice pocket square though.  This may be a gift for a trendy relative.
Ashton Says “This pocket square adds the perfect hint of Halloween flair”.
Information Cards
Fancy always includes a card for every item in the box.  On the back, is a message from Ashton, on why he picked the item.
Whole Box
Final Thought: This month's box had a total value of $120.95.  My husband loves the Monocle and the card deck.  The Ashton Kutcher A+ Fancy box is filled with many unique items, that you wouldn't find regularly.   If you are interested in signing up for The Ashton Kutcher A+ Box or any Fancy box, click HERE.  Use the code FOLLOWUP10 to save 10% on your first box.

October Bluum 20 month World of Colors

I am always excited to get Bluum.  Bluum is $24.95 a month and each month, you get an assortment of goodies from lotions to toys and books for your child.  Bluum curates each box by ages.  Each theme is the same every month for every age, but the products within each box are different from month to month and from box to box.  Bluum can be a bit different but I always like my boxes.  I have heard they can be hard to cancel, so sign up with a re-loadable prepaid card.
First Look
Generally items don't fit the themes, but I was surprised by all the colorful items in the box.
Information Card
Bluum sends an information card with each month's theme.  The back has more detailed information about your child during that month.  The list of items in the box is emailed once your box is delivered.
Early Lingo Colors and Shapes at the Park part 1 of 12 $20.00
I received another Early Lingo in my Stork Stack box.  I like that this is part 1 of the series.  I am still not crazy about having a dvd for my 20 month old.  I will let my 4 year old watch this.  It is always good to teach children another language.
Touch and Feel Board Book: Let's Play $8.99
I love books and they are great to get in a subscription box.  This is a cute book and it nice and sturdy.
Circle of Friends Makwa's Organics Calming Cream $14.40
This is Eczema & Sensitive Skin Formula.  I am really excited to try this for T.  He has eczema and I hope this can help. This has vitamin A, canendula, aloe vera, chamomile
Melissa and Doug Rainbow Stacker $9.52
I love Melissa and Doug and we don't have this toy.  This is a fun toy, as you can put the rings in any order.  T really likes this and has been playing with it, ever since he got it.
Luna Bar $2.00
I dislike Luna bars and carrot cake.  I will just say yuck and move on.
Babysoy Oh Soy Collection $6.30
This bib is made with organic cotton and non gmo soy fibers.  This is really soft.  I will probably save this for a baby shower.  T doesn't use bibs unless it is mealtime, and then we use easy clean ones.
The Whole Box
Final Thought: I thought this box was really good.  There were 6 items total in my box.  I dislike the Luna bar, but it's only $2.00 of the total value.  The total value of the box is $61.21.  That is a really good value for a $25.00 box.  My favorite items are the book, ring stack and the lotion, that is $32.92 right there!  If you are interested in trying Bluum, click HERE.

Vermont Snacks is a new subscription box that sends 4-6 snacks/food especially selected from Vermont.  I love visiting Vermont and I was very excited to see what this box included.  The subscription box is $19.00 a month and the box ships out by the 15th of the month.  Vermont Snacks sent me this box to review.
The Box
The box is cute and I like the decorative tape
First Look
Information List
The information list was very detailed and decorative.  Vermont Snacks gave a list of each product and the background to that product.
Yolo! Popcorn $1.00
This is really good popcorn.  Our family loves popcorn and we are picky.  This is great kettle corn.  I will be contacting the company to purchase more.
Tanabar Triple Berry $2.25
This is a really tasty chewy bar.  It was a bit crumbly but had a really great flavor.  The company was founded by a mother of a little boy with a peanut allergy.  Their entire line of food is made free of peanuts and all tree nuts.  As a mother of a little boy with a peanut allergy, I love what this company is doing.
Vermont Smoke and Cure BBQ Beef Stick $1.25

The beef in this was raised without antibiotics.  This is flavored with sweet molasses and spicy peppers.  I hate beef jerky and similar items, but I liked this.  My husband and 4 year old son also really liked this.

Vermont Village Applesauce Unsweetened Applesauce $1.62 a piece
This is organic and natural applesauce from Vermont farmers.  My boys love applesauce and they ate this right up.  I wish there was more!
The Whole Box

Final Thought: The total value for the box was $7.74.  I was disappointed by the value of the box.  I love the idea of the box and enjoyed the products in it.  I was hoping for a few more products in the box.  I hope to see more value in the future boxes and I am excited to see future boxes from this company.  If you are interested in signing up for this box, go to http://www.vermontsnacks.com/.

First Look
The Information Card
The information card has a list of each picture and retail price of all the products in the box, along with the websites.
La Fresh Travel Lite Facial Cleansing Wipes $2.49

This is packed with aloe vera, cucumber, chamomile, marshmallow and tea plan botanical extracts.  These are also oil free.  I love facial cleansing clothes.  While I have a full nightly skincare routine, after a long day, sometimes I just use a cleansing wipe and sleep.  These are perfect for a long weekend away.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion 1 oz .87 (Retail $6.99/8oz)
I love Aveeno lotion.  This keeps my skin soft and non greasy.  I am saving this for a future vacation.  Travel size products are expensive!
Swissco Glitter Toe Separators $2.00

These are fun and pretty.  I tried them out and I didn't have glitter come off on my manicure.

Nubar After Ego Nail Lacquer .25 $4.00 (Retail $8.00/.5oz)
I love glitter polish.  I am not sure how old, is too old for glitter polish, but I don't feel I am there yet. This is a nice clear glitter and perfect for layering over a bold color.
Model Co Illusion Lip Pencil $20.00
This lip pencil is made with cocoa and shea butter.  It goes on super smooth and made my lips look bigger!  I normally would not spend $20.00 on a lip liner, but it is a pretty great beauty product.  It even has a build in sharpener on the lid.  I am always loosing my sharpeners.
The Whole Box

Final Thought The total value for this box is $29.36.  That is a great value for $12.00!  I am thinking about signing up for a year.  The monthly cost is only $8.25, with a year subscription.   My favorite products in this box are the lip pencil, nail polish, and the toe separators.  I really love all the products, so it is hard to pick my favorites.  If you are interested in signing up for Beauty Box 5, click HERE.  What do you think of Beauty Box 5?

October Bestowed Review and Half Off Code

Bestowed is a subscription box full of healthy snack, food and beverages.  It was founded by Heather Bauer.  Heather is a registered dietitian and a best selling author of two books: The Wall Street Diet (Hyperion 2008) and Bread is the Devil (St. Martin's Press 2012).  I was really excited when Bestowed asked me to review their box.  This month, everything in the box is 100% GMO free!   You might be wondering, what is a gmo?  I didn't know myself, until recently.  A GMO, is a “genetically modified organism”.  It is plants or animals that have had DNA from bacteria, viruses, or other plants and animals, genetically engineered into the product.  You can visit http://www.nongmoproject.org/ to learn more.
The Details
Cost: $19.00 a month or $209.00 a year
Coupons: 50% off your first month of Bestowed ($10 instead of $19) by using the code HELLOTEN103.  Just click HERE to join.  This code expires 11/20
What's in the box? Get a boxed assortment of healthy and delicious food, snacks, and beverages — delivered to your door every month. Most of the products are full size and the box will have a value of at least $30.00
When will I get the box? 15th of the month

The Box
I love the pretty orange box with the company's bright logo.  So friendly and inviting!

First Look
Second Look
One of the first things I noticed, was how heavy the box felt.  I love heavy boxes.
Information Guide
More Details
This is my favorite information guide of all subscription boxes.  It has why they love each product (a full paragraph).  They also include several places to buy the products, not just their own website.  Lastly, there are tips on how to use each product.  There was also information about GMOs in the book.
Nature's Path Love Crunch Dark Chocolate Macaroon Granola $4.69

This has 11.5 ozs!  I was really surprised that the package was so big.  I don't like coconut, so I expecting to hate this.  It's actually not bad.  My husband really likes it and he also doesn't like coconut.  There are 14 grams of protein in a serving and has low sodium.  Nature's Path donates the equivalent of food to a food bank across America, for every bag Love Crunch sold.  They are also sponsoring GMO OMG, a documentary about a dad unearthing the truth about GMOs and what is in our food.  The movie will be in select theaters in October!

Way Better Snacks Simply Beyond Black Bean Tortilla Chips $1.29
Again, I judged the package before eating.  I don't eat black beans, I am a picky eater.  I tasted these chips and they are so good!  I ate them right out of the bag and with salsa.  I could eat them any way.  These are also loaded with protein and omega 3's!  I am buying more of these.
Manitoba Harvest Hemp Pro 70 2 Free Samples
I haven't tried this yet, but I will.  You can mix this with orange juice, a smoothie or your morning cereal.  This is packed with 10 amino acids as well.
The Good Bean Smoky Chili & Lime Chickpea Snacks $4.59
I love spicy food, so these smoky chili and lime chickpeas are an A+ in my book.  These only have 150 calories and 6 grams of fat in each serving.  These also come in sea salt and sweet cinnamon.
Fiber Love Cinnamon Raisin Bar $1.99
My husband liked this bar.  Do you like oatmeal raisin cookies?  This is the breakfast bar version.  This has 130 calories and 48% of your daily fiber.
Unreal Peanut Butter Cups $1.19
These are AMAZING!  Seriously, you have to try these.  These are peanut butter cups without the junk like hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, GMOs, or artificial colors and flavors.  Bestowed also included a recipe to use the unreal cups to make Peanut Butter Quinoa Cookies.  Unfortunately, my peanut butter cups didn't make it for the recipe.  They are outstanding.
Enjoy Life Not Nuts Seed and Fruit Beach Bash $2.00
This stuff is crazy good.  This is an allergen friendly snack!  L would really like this and I love that it doesn't have nuts.  The seeds and fruit together make an amazing mix.  I am going to order more of this.  I love finding healthy snacks that I am willing to eat on a regular basis. Bestowed also suggested adding this to Greek yogurt or add to homemade pumpkin bread before putting it in the oven.
Ultima Replenisher 64 cents
Bestowed mentioned that it is marathon season.  I am actually a runner, although I am going from my first 5k to my first 5 mile race.  Baby steps.  Anyway, I was thrilled to get a product for runners.  This helps replenish your body with 8 essential electrolytes.  This is free from sugar and artificial  ingredients.  You mix a tablespoon with cold water, and you can drink this while running.
Coupons $10.00 for subscription
I love coupons.  Bestowed included the following in the box:
* $1.00 off Nature's Path or Envirokids product
*Fiber Love Bar Club offer.  Join and get your favorite bars delivered each month 30% off.  You fourth month is free
* Free 1 year subscription to Women's Health Magazine $10.00 value
The Whole Box
Final Thought: The total value for this box is $26.39.  This is one of my favorite food boxes.  I love the educational information that Bestowed sends.  The quality of the food are top notch and I love that they include several places to buy each snack.  I really felt Bestowed cares about their product, education and the health of it's subscribers.  I would highly recommend trying Bestowed.  You can try Bestowed for only $10.00, just use the code HELLOTEN103.  This code expires 11/20.  If you want to sign up, just click the picture below.
